Pujya Shri Govind Devgiri Swamiji, the treasurer of the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, declared Vijayawada as a symbol of the resurgence of Hindutva, stressing that the city has become a focal point for the awakening of Hindus. Speaking at the "Haindava Shankharavam" organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) near Kesarapalli, Vijayawada, on Sunday, Swamiji highlighted the significance of protecting Hindu Dharma and culture as the foundation for a prosperous India and the world.

He emphasized that India's security is linked to the preservation of Hindu Dharma, which in turn leads to global welfare. Drawing inspiration from Shivaji Maharaj, Swamiji stated that the goals set by the Maratha king, who exemplified both bravery and wisdom, continue to guide Hindu society in its endeavors and spiritual practices. He also elaborated on Shivaji's virtuous governance, which was dedicated to the welfare of the world rather than selfish motives.

Swamiji further urged Hindu society to protect temples, which he described as more than just places of worship but as abodes of divinity. He emphasized that temples illuminate the inner light of individuals and serve as a source of spiritual inspiration. He commended the transparency and traditional practices followed in the management of the Ayodhya Ram Temple, which is being constructed with dedication and complete independence from government interference.

Swamiji noted that the temple's rituals and management are conducted with full adherence to tradition, and everything, from funds to ceremonies, is handled transparently. He also mentioned that the upcoming annual celebrations for the Ayodhya Ram Temple will take place on Pushya Shukla Dwadashi, also known as Pratishtha Dwadashi, and urged that other temples across the country follow the example set by Ayodhya in managing their affairs autonomously and effectively.
